This was among the first forms of divination I learned. Though I am by no means a pro with the tarot, I love what it continuously teaches me time and time again. I currently use The Guilded Tarot deck. I purchased this deck about 6 years ago. Now I am ready for a second deck. Still looking for one that feels right.

I chose The Guilded Tarot because it is visually stimulating for me. If you are looking for a deck of cards that are visually stunning with digital imagery, you might like this deck as well. What deck are you currently using?

I too want to start using Tarot as a tool, but am intimated because I don't know how to do it or how to learn how to do it...How do you do it?! lol

Give me some insight into your journey and start into this useful tool.

Thanks MeadowMoon!

Jaysen,
I have been using my tarot deck for a few years now, but I still have a lot to learn. When I first bought my deck, I also bought a tarot book with them to help me learn them. I didn't realize a book came with the cards. ;) At first, I studied the cards to get familiar with the pictures and to make my own determination as to what the card might mean. After I studied one card, I would then reference the book and see if I was close to what the book stated the meaning was. I did this process for each card. I set aside 15 minutes a day just to study one card per day.

At the beginning, don't worry about referring to the book, it can often be a good support for you. However, over time, you will have a relationship with the cards and will find that your need for the book will become less and less until it becomes only an occasional reference for you. Good luck!!
